Attach Lower Umbrella Arms

With the pole set and leveled it is time to attach the arms.

1. Start by connecting the short arms to the lower set of tabs. Both ends of the short arms are identical, so their orientation is not critical.
2. There is a single tab on the pole, which will fit between a pair of tabs on the end of the arm. Remove the bolt from the pair of tabs on one of the arms and align the arm tabs with the tab on the pole.
3. Insert the bolt through the holes on all three tabs. Thread the nut onto the bolt and hand-tighten it. Later in the install the nuts will be tightened with a wrench.
4. Repeat this process for each of the short arms.
